To ‘stress’ is to subject to physical or mental pressure, tension, or strainthis is precisely what happens when you see your desk piled with ‘pending work’ & you experience ‘headaches’...


What is Stress? Is it Beneficial??

Stress (ideally) is something that pushes us- to aim & reach higher, helps us re-discover ourselves when succeed in achieving what seemed impossible & distant. We start believing in ourselves...

But then there is a very thin line that separates the Good stress from the Bad... In trying to reach higher we unknowingly cross this line...And what we then experience is “DIS”- stress... Slowly this distress also shows up on small pressures...We feel run-down& burnt-out ... we are unable to cope...At this time along with our Mind& Body call out for help... wanting to be rescued...

Is it difficult to believe that ulcers or irritable bowel syndrome are connected to high stress levels, that we might get constipation, diarrhoea or lose our appetite? What happens to the urge to scream, to lash out, to find release from the tension? Is it surprising that marriages suffer, or that alcohol and food addiction is rising?
